Asalaamu Alaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuh,

Welcome to Ramadan 1440 (May-June 2019). May this blessed month bring ease and peace to the whole ummah, Ameen.

The sponsorship date(s) you select will be confirmed by a member of the Executive council with a phone call or in person. In order to have successful community Iftars, we would like to present you with a few guidelines to follow:

NOTE: Weekend Iftar events will require the sponsor to sign a separate agreement.

1. ICCL will provide bottled water for all the Iftars (Weekdays & Weekends) during the month of Ramadan

2. Paper plates and disposable utensils will be provided during weekday iftars. The sponsors are expected to bring disposable utensils and paper plates for weekend iftar and dinner.

3. ICCL will arrange weekend cleaning and serving services via a professional service provider at the cost of additional $200 (Required for weekends)

4. Weekends (Saturdays & Sundays) include Iftar and Dinner.

5. We recommend all Iftar dishes to be finger foods such as (meat/veggie pies, samosas, falafel, sliced fruit, etc). Dates and drinks must also be provided.

6. We request all sponsors to arrive thirty (30) minutes prior to Iftar time on weekdays for the setup and at least one (1) hour prior to Iftar time on weekends. All sponsors are responsible for clean-up including basement/kitchen and setting up basement for prayers.

7. Please bring all food in covered foil trays with adequate amounts to feed approximately 40-50 (Weekday), 250-350 (Weekend) brothers and sisters. Ensure that the trays are in pairs (one for brothers and one for sisters).

8. Please take all leftover back home (do not leave at Masjid) as ICCL does not have adequate means to keep or repurpose any of the left-over food.

9. During the last 10 days of Ramadan, when you sign-up for iftar please keep in mind that a separated tray of food is recommended for those in itikaf in addition to regular community members (approx. 80-100 people).

10. During the last 10 days of Ramadan, Suhoor sign-up is also available to server (approx. 60-70 people).
