Eid on Sunday May, 24th 2020: Drive-In Eid Prayer & Drive-Thru Youth Celebration at ICCL

Dear Beloved ICCL Community, 

Assalamu Alaikum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatahu.

The moon was not sighted tonight in North America so InshaAllah we will complete 30 days of fasting and Eid-Al-Fitr will be on Sunday, May 24th, 2020 .

Three drive-in Eid prayers will be held, starting at 8 AM, 9 AM and 10 AM on Sunday. Limited vehicles will be permitted in each prayer session. Please carpool with your entire household and follow all instructions of the police officers and volunteers. See the flyer and the diagram below for further details. We hope that this accommodation will make for a safe yet enjoyable Eid ul-Fitr for us all inshaAllah. 

It is extremely important that all community members come prepared each with a prayer rug and a mask if praying outside of their vehicle, and strictly follow all instructions outlined at the bottom of the flyer.

Also, on Sunday, May 24th, from 3 PM to 4:30 PM, we will have a drive-thru Eid celebration in the ICCL parking lot for the youth and their families to enjoy. Each child will also receive a goody bag for Eid upon exit. Please see the flyer below for more details.
