Background:
Muhammad Ibrahim Kasi the well known reciter of Holy Quran from Quetta. He was just nine years old when he embarked on his stately career, gaining recognition with his recitation of the Holy Quran. Ibrahim came 1st at the holy Quran recitation competition, an achievement that earned him accolades from prominent figures.
The reciter Ibrahim learned the rules of the Holy Quran (Tajweed) from his Brother, Qari Syed Muhammad Basit, and has since learned a lot of other recitation styles (Aesthetics of voice) from his Teacher, Sheikh Shahhat Muhammad Anwar Rh.
Qari Ibrahim continued his education and proceeded to graduate with honors. He finished college in Quetta, then continued his religious studies in quetta. Ibrahim took his lessons in Arabic, staying true to the Quranic language. He’s not only bilingual, though. He is fluent in four other languages as well: Pashto, Urdu, English, Arabic, Farsi.
Qari Ibrahim started participating in various national and international competitions from a young age and has been the recipient of numerous awards. As a result, he has travelled to several countries around the world, such as Iran, Qatar, Turkey, and Germany, Canada, France, Italy, Morocco, UAE, Switzerland among others. He travelled to these countries to lead Salat-al-Taraweeh and participate in International Holy Quran Competitions and Programs. He has continually distinguished himself and his country in these competitions and services abroad.
Qari Ibrahim repeatedly scored first place in the ongoing National Quran Competition 2008. He also secured first place in the National Hifz and Qirat Competition in 2009, 2010 and 2011.
